Owner Victoria Cole is from the beautiful island of Barbados, located in the sunny Caribbean. Victoria grew up on the island with her parents and older brother and pets have always been a part of her family. Growing up she had Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Love Birds, Cockatiels, Fish, Cats and of course Dogs. Truthfully, while Victoria loves all animals, she has a soft spot for dogs, especially rescue dogs. Adopting rescue dogs fills a special place in her heart. "Saving one dog will not change the world, but for that one dog, the world will change forever" - Karen Davison.
Victoria left Barbados in 2013 to attend Sheridan College, Ontario to pursue her career in Animal Care & Grooming. This opportunity changed her life in many ways, both personally and professionally. Victoria graduated from Sheridan College with honours in June 2014, moved to Woodstock, Ontario with James, her partner and best friend, in July 2014 and in September 2014 she joined the wonderful team at Harris Animal Hospital as Veterinary Assistant & Groomer. Shortly after joining Harris Victoria & James adopted a kitten named Shadow and a bearded dragon named Walt. They have both become a special part of their family. What an exciting and life changing year 2014 was for Victoria, with no regrets.
Victoria gained invaluable experience while working with the dedicated team at Harris Animal Hospital and truly enjoyed the friendships developed with her co-workers, clients and of course their pets. In January 2018 she had the exciting opportunity to establish her own business, Tangled Tails Grooming Salon Inc. This process over the last 3 months has been enjoyable and overwhelming all at the same time and she looks forward to opening the doors to her salon on April 2nd 2018. This has been a dream come true for Victoria and she feels extremely privileged to be able to follow her passion in animal care. "Pets are not our whole life, but they certainly make our lives whole." Never a truer statement. Looking forward to seeing you at Tangled Tails Salon!
