We strongly believe that grooming is more than just making a pet look their best and smell lovely, but it is also a tool to maintain their overall health and well-being. No two dogs are the same, and we take pride in building up strong, long-term, relationships with owners, to help find a haircut that best suits their lifestyle and their pets needs.
De-Matting
Humanity over vanity, always, at Fur The Pet Studio. We understand that when life throws curve balls, matting can happen very easily. For the safety, and comfort of your pet, we do not offer brush out de-matting services at our facility. If necessary, we will discuss with you a plan to remove matting through shaving, and work toward a haircut that is easiest for you to maintain at home. A matted coat can be more time consuming to shave out, and additional costs may accrue. Thankfully, it's hair that grows back!
Vaccine Requirements
Current proof of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella/Kennel Cough vaccinations are required for all grooming clients. For pets UNDER six months of age, a full puppy series of Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella/Kennel Cough is required prior to services. We ask that all vaccinations are received no sooner than 24 hours prior to your pets grooming appointment to assure that any correlated reactions and/or pain has passed.
Cancellation Policy
In efforts to reduce the amount of last minute cancellations and no-shows, all new clients may be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit prior to scheduling. This deposit will be factored in to the final price due at the completion of services. This deposit will NOT BE REFUNDED in the instance of a no-show and/or untimely cancellation. Thank you for your understanding.
A minimum of 24 hour notice for a cancellation/reschedule request is required for 1-2 pets. A minimum of 48 hour notice for a cancellation/reschedule request is required for 2+ pets. This gives us adequate time to try to fill that appointment slot with another client.
Less than requested time to cancel or reschedule will have one free pass, after the initial instance, a fee of 25% of estimated services cancelled will need to be paid prior to rescheduling. Repeated last minute cancellations will result in termination of services.
First time clients that no-show will not be re-booked. Existing clients that no show will be required to pay a 25% of services cancelled prior to re-booking. After the second no show, we will be unable to re-book.
