Couture Cuts Pet Salons pricing is always based on breed standards. However, many things factor into the breeds we are presented with. When we speak of breed standards we are relating that to the AKC breed profile. If the breed presented falls outside of the breed standard, the price can fluctuate. Other factors that are taken into consideration are coat condition, whether fleas are present, and/or the temperament of the animal.

For instance, Doodles are not recognized by the AKC but there are many of them that we groom and many more that need grooming. There are many different mixes crossed with poodles. There are Maltipoo, Shihpoos, Goldendoodles, Bernadoodles, and Aussiedoodles, just to name a few. Within these mixes there are different sizes, shapes, coat types, the style of groom, and temperaments. We tell you this because you will be asked questions regarding these factors on the phone or at drop off to give you a range of what the groom will cost. We don’t have a set price list for all the breeds. As a result we often give a range of what it might cost when asked.
