Here, at Couture Cuts Pet Salon, LLC, we strive to create a positive psychological experience for the animal.

The shop is AKC S.A.F.E (Safety, Assurance, Fundamentals, Education) certified as well as our groomers. This grooming program supports the grooming industry’s self-regulation effort through education. We are showing our commitment to our clients and community by setting the standard in grooming safety. An example of how this works is in case there is a fire, we have teamed up with a local boarding facility where the pets that are in the shop can stay temporarily. Also, there are gates, in the shop to reduce the chance of a dog/cat escaping.

All of our certified groomers are Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified.. Sherry, the owner, is Fear free certified. Fear Free is a way of grooming prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them. Within Sherry’s grooming career she has saved several dogs. One time a Shellie collapsed in the tub. She called the owner and met the owner at the vet. The results after clinical exam and bloodwork showed heart disease. If Sherry didn’t know the signs to look for that pup may have passed on her table.

We groom all breeds of dogs and cats, and have even clipped nails on guinea pigs and chickens. We love all animals. We focus on the humanity of the groom before vanity. We schedule all grooms by the appointment to keep the environment as calm as it can be.
