WE REQUIRE 48 HOURS NOTICE TO CHANGE OR CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT.
- We will attempt to contact you by phone, voicemail, email or text to remind you of your appointment. It is important that you verify your e mail within our scheduling system.
I understand that occasions arise that are out of our control and I am more than happy to work with you. If this becomes a repetitive issue then I can no longer service your pet(s)
- Failure to call 48 hours in advance may result in a charge of 50% that must be paid prior to your next grooming appointment.
Giving advance notice gives us the opportunity to fill your grooming slot and rearrange our schedule.
- If we show up for the appointment and there is no one at home to release the pet, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.If you are more than 15 min late, your pet will be ‘fit in’ around other grooms that day, or rescheduled at groomer’s discretion. Rescheduling fees may apply. Cancellations or reschedules MUST be made with 48 hour notice or a "loss of income" fee of 50% will be charged before the pet will be groomed again.
Mobile grooming by it’s nature is a very exclusive one-on-one service that also includes factors of driving time, weather, and grooming set backs caused by previous clients. Due to this fact we will give you an "estimated time of arrival" in which we will most *likely* arrive. Because we cannot control all variables at all times, there may be times in which we are running ahead of or behind schedule. Please bear in mind that it will be normal for us to arrive up to 30 minutes early or 30 minutes late. Because of this it is best to agree to hide a key in a special place or leave a certain door open so that we may have access to your pet even if you are not at home. Please remember to keep your pet confined to a small area if you will not be home so that we may have easy access to it. We will NOT chase a pet around the house or yard! If we are running more than 30 minutes late we will call you to let you know. In an effort to try and control tardiness we ask that all clients are either at home on their appointment day or are able to give us access in some way to their pet so we can groom him or her in the owner’s absence and not have our tight schedule interrupted. If we are unable to get access to the pet within 15 minutes of our arrival we will move on to the next appointment and you will be responsible for the FULL AMOUNT of the expected grooming charge. Also, because mobile appointments are at a premium we require a 48 hour notice for all cancellations or reschedules so that we may fill an available appointment slot with someone from the waiting list. Failure to give 48 hour notice will result in a ‘rescheduling fee’ equal to 50% of the expected grooming charge.
While I try to make this process as convenient for you as possible, I cannot guarantee days or time frames that suit your schedule. I offer latch key in order to help keep things running as smoothly as possible. If you are uncomfortable with latch key then you will need to adjust your schedule to be home when the appointment is set. I inform you when I arrive and when I leave.
ALL CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO STAY ON A ROTATING SCHEDULE OF EVERY 2,4,6 OR 8 WEEKS.
At times we may have technical difficulties with our equipment. We strive at all times to prevent this but in order to not interrupt our grooming appointments because of technical difficulties we have some ‘back up procedures’ in place that may require the use of an appliance-grade electrical outlet or a refill of our water tank.
It goes with out saying that we require sufficient space to park and maneuver our grooming vehicle. This can be in your yard/driveway or on-street but we CANNOT interrupt the flow of traffic or become ‘penned in’ in a small or narrow driveway. If you are unable to provide sufficient parking you can elect to meet us at an alternate location close to your home that can accommodate our need.
General Liability Waiver
Becky B's Mobile Grooming employs extensive safety and sanitary precautions to ensure your pets safety and health. Despite reasonable and prudent efforts, some pets may experience common side effects of the grooming process, including but not limited to: razor burn, exposure of the quick, reactions to flea treatments and de-shedding, hair splinters, and sharp nails (after clipping). By signing this agreement, you (the client) agree to relieve Becky B's Grooming and it's agents from any and all liabilities, and/or costs associated with any veterinary care, symptoms or discomfort of your pet related to or presenting after services rendered by Becky B's Grooming. The pursuit of any veterinary, behavioral, or rehabilitational services, and the payment there of, is the sole responsibility of the pet owner. Additionally, you agree to relieve Becky B's Grooming and its agents from any and all liability associated with damages to person, pet, or property by or relating to services rendered or service equipment used by Becky B's Grooming and it's agents.
OUR PHILOSOPHY IS TO OFFER A STRESS FREE GROOMING EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR Pet
- Your pet’s safety and comfort are our first priority.
- We will not perform any grooming procedure that causes pain or a level of stress that we think
is excessive. This includes nail trimming
in some situations.
- Senior pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort.
2. YOU, THE PET OWNER, WILL ADVISE US OF ANY MEDICAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL ISSUES, ALLERGIES, SENSITIVITIES, OR
-These may include prior surgeries, hip or joint issues, warts, moles, ear infections or skin problems.
3. IF YOUR DOG HAS BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS, PLEASE LET US KNOW.
- Becky B's Grooming reserves the right to muzzle your pet.
-The pet owner will be held liable for any bites that require medical treatment and for any property damage caused by their pet.
-All bites will be reported to the local authorities as required by law.
- Becky B's Grooming reserves the right to refuse service.
- We always give a 2 hr window for arrival. We will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible, however, sometimes situations occur that will disrupt the daily
schedule of the groomer. This includes traffic, weather, mechanical difficulties, spending more time with an older/younger pet or a
difficult pet. The pet’s safety will never be compromised by rushing to meet a schedule.
You will be called and advised of an arrival time
when schedules change beyond our control.
5. PRICING VARIES FOR EACH PET AND IS DETERMINED BY BREED, SIZE AND CONDITION OF YOUR PET.
-Additional charges apply for de-matting, de-shedding, , excessive coat and flea treatments due to the additional time it
- Additional charges may apply due to the dog’s temperament and behavior during the groom.
-If you would like your pet brushed out, dematting fees are $1.00 per minute.
-If your pet cannot be humanely dematted, we may ask to clip the hair short and “start over.” We will always ask for your permission.
-Please keep in mind that a matted coat can cause numerous health conditions including itching, irritation, and skin infections.
Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles and skin folds trapped and hidden in the
mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet’s skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow causing skin irritations that exist
prior to the grooming process. Becky B's Grooming is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions due to a matted coat.
-If you would like to reschedule your grooming appointment to allow you time to brush or comb out the excess matting, a $50.00
minimum groom fee will apply.
-Cash, Card and Personal Checks are all accepted
- Checks shall be made out to: Becky B's Grooming
- There will be a $35.00 charge for Non Sufficient Funds.
All payment is due by the day of service. If you will not be home you may either leave a blank check or cash equal to the expected grooming charge plus $20 (to cover unexpected extra charges such as matting and fleas), or leave your credit card. All payment methods are 100% safe. Your groomer is the ONLY individual to ever handle your payment information. If we show up to groom your pet and payment is not left we will try to contact you to obtain credit card information or give you enough time to arrive with payment before the grooming begins. Becky B's Grooming reserves the right to leave if payment is not available and the appointment will be handled as a “no show”
I understand and do agree to the above terms for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s) and in consideration of the grooming
services of Becky B's Grooming agree to hold harmless from damage, loss or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-
existing condition of my pet(s). The terms, special services or handling shall include but are not limited to veterinarian services in the
event I am not available. I authorize It’s Becky B's Grooming to act as my agent in the event emergency veterinarian services, care-
taking and/or transportation is necessary and I agree to pay all costs.
I reserve the right to use any photos I take of your pet on marketing my business.
If you have concerns about your pet’s groom, please notify us within 48 hours of the appointment. We will discuss rescheduling an
appointment at the earliest time available.
It’s Becky B's Grooming reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. That means, if I determine that your pet can not be comfortably de-matted or you are not willing to pay for the added service, or clip and start over, I will not groom your pet. Matting, knots, or webbing can almost always be avoided with minimal routine maintenance. I realize extreme conditions can happen but should de-matting become a regular part of your pets grooming routine, then adjustments to your routine schedule or style must be made to compensate for the neglect. If this is not financially conducive, than mobile grooming services are not for you.
