Ace And Chanti's employs extensive safety and sanitary precautions to ensure your pets safety and health. Despite reasonable and prudent efforts, some pets may experience common side effects of the grooming process, including but not limited to: clipper burn, exposure of the quick, reactions to flea treatments and de-shedding dip treatments, hair splinters, and sharp nails (after clipping). By signing this agreement, you (the client) agree to relieve Ace And Chanti's, and it's agents from any and all liabilities, and/or costs associated with any veterinary care, symptoms or discomfort of your pet related to or presenting after services rendered by Ace And Chanti's. The pursuit of any veterinary, behavioral, or rehabilitational services, and the payment there of, is the sole responsibility of the pet owner. Additionally, you agree to relieve Ace And Chanti's and its agents from any and all liability associated with damages to person, pet, or property by or relating to services rendered or service equipment used by Ace And Chanti's and it's agents.
Because we care about your pet’s safety and wellbeing, we guarantee that every effort will be made to make your pet’s visit as pleasant as possible. Occasionally, grooming can expose and aggravate pre-existing conditions. This can become visible during and/or after the services performed.
Skin Conditions: Grooming can uncover or create skin irritation and may not become noticeable until after services have been completed. Such conditions can be (not limited to) rashes, clipper irritation/ “burns”, hot spots and itchiness. Fleas and ticks along with other parasites can also be found during service.
Fleas and ticks: We are very vigilant on controlling infestation in our salon. If fleas and/or ticks are present on your pet, a Capstar tab will be administered along with flea shampoo. These conditions may result in additional charges for products used.
Matted Coats: In the event that your pet is matted, a groomer will thoroughly inspect your pet’s coat and assess the severity. If the coat can be safely and humanely brushed out, additional charges will be applied for the time used to complete dematting. In cases where the matting cannot be brushed out, and shaving is required, additional charges will be added to the service ticket accordingly to the time required for services before check-out. Both dematting and shaving can cause or uncover skin issues such as; but are not limited to; hot spots, rashes, clipper irritation/ “burns”, bruising, hematomas, cuts, abrasions, physical and/or mental stress.
Senior Pets: Grooming services for senior pets can/will take longer due to their physical and/or mental health. We take every precaution to ensure the best for your pet. Sometimes grooming services can cause injury or strain on their muscles and joints and can lead to soreness and/or excessive tiredness. If your senior pet shows physical or mental stress, grooming services may/will be stopped and continued another day. If an emergency should occur, services will discontinue and we will seek veterinarian care at Lake Area Animal Hospital (Mon – Fri) or Gill Bright Animal Hospital (Mon – Sat).
Safety: Due to the intimate nature of the grooming process, or a pet’s tolerance level of stress, strangers or handling, some pets can become anxious or reactive. We use safety certified grooming loops and restraints. While every safety measure will be taken, sometimes a pet can be injured and/or exhibit physical or mental stress. If your groomer deems it is unsafe for your pet, or themselves, services will cease immediately, you will be contacted and responsible for any services rendered.
Disclaimer: All cancellations and "no shows" will be assessed on a case by case scenario by the salon owner. This is to ensure the best possible customer care for all of our cherished clients.
First Time Clients: Due to a large amount of first time clients with "no show"/cancellation, all new first time clients are required to pay a $45 non refundable deposit for the appointment scheduled. This amount will be applied to the services rendered at your appointment.
Recurring Appointments: All recurring appointments are required to have a card on file and have a separate agreement on paper for services regarding recurring schedule. Any no show or cancellations without reasonable cause will result in an automatic charge for your appointment on that day. If said recurring appointment is canceled frequently or exhibits other scheduling delinquencies, said agreement will be terminated.
Cancelation: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must contact Ace and Chanti’s Pet Services at least 24 hours prior so that the time slot can be available to another client on the waiting list. If 2 consecutive appointments are considered “no call, no show” or frequently cancelled on the same day, a non refundable deposit of $45 will be required for all future appointments. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it will be cancelled and considered a “no call, no show” and charged upon your next visit the amount of $45.
Large Breeds: All large breed dogs are required to be on a recurring schedule in order to be serviced. This is due to the extremely high demand for grooming services available to large breed dogs. (See Recurring Appointments clause)
